Charles Mayer, CPA
Chuck attended technical college in North Dakota where he
received an associate degree in electronic technology. He
worked in offshore oil research as a computer technician /
navigator for two years prior to entering the accounting
program at the University of North Dakota. He graduated from
the University of North Dakota in 1988 and joined the firm in
1989.
He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the
American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the
Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants.
He is a past president of the Staples Rotary Club and
currently serves as its treasurer.

Keith Porter, CPA
Keith graduated from the University of North Dakota with a bachelors degree in accounting. He joined the firm in 1985.
He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants.
He is a past board member of the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accounts and current president of the Mid-State Chapter of the Minnesota
Society of CPA's. He is a past president of the Staples Host Lions and a past board member of the Staples Area Men's Chorus.

Julie Nelson, CPA
Julie graduated from St. Cloud State University with a bachelors degree in accounting. She joined the firm in 1999.
Previous to her move to Staples, Julie worked as a Certified
Public Accountant in the metro area for seven years and as a
controller of a small company for two.
Julie is a member of the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants and the Minnesota Society of Certified
Public Accountants.
She serves on her church finance council, and is on the board of trustees of the Initiative Foundation.
